Activity Week for Classes P1 to P5

‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’ In order to make the post exam period a fun filled session for the students, various activities were planned out for them from 14.03.2017 till 23.03.2017. Craft activities like making a desk organiser, pen holder, wall hanging, origami and block printing, were conducted. TOI and NIE conducted interesting craft activities for P4 and P5. Adventure camp for all the students was organised in the school premises. Other activities enjoyed by the students were Magic and Puppet show, sandwich making and fabric painting along with many more interesting activities. Students also went for picnics to Lodhi Garden and Nehru Park. P5 students visited Gandhi Smriti and National Science Centre. P4 students were taken to the National Museum.

Activity Week for Classes Nursery and KG

‘Learning is easy when learning is fun.’ To make the process of learning a fun filled experience, various activities were planned out for the children of Nursery and KG from 14th to 23rd March 2017. To start with the K.G. children turned into little chefs and made smiley sandwiches and fruit satay sticks. A bazaar to sell clay items made by children was set up as part of a fun filled Jodo Gyan activity. The next day was also full of fun and excitement as a magic show and puppet show was shown to the children. An Adventure Camp (as the name says it all) was held. Many other activities like yoga and movie sessions, food sharing and outdoor excursions to the zoo and rail museum added an element of fun and excitement.

The valedictory ceremony for the outgoing batch of class P5 students (2016-2017) was held on 22.03.2017. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. Kiran Datar, Chairperson, Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School. The occasion was also graced by Mrs. Ambika Pant, Honorary Secretary, Board of Trustees, Modern Schools. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and the Headmistress, Mrs. Manju Rajput. Thereafter, the Headmistress welcomed the parents and other distinguished guests. She also impelled the students to think big and excel in all they endeavor to do. The academic excellence and co-curricular achievements of meritorious students was acknowledged in an Awards Ceremony which was followed by an inspirational speech by the Chief Guest. This was followed by a poignant presentation, depicting the journey of the outgoing students through RSJMS. The melodious songs, the foot tapping dances, the stirring narrative and the evocative visuals, kept the audience spell bound and took everyone down memory lane! It was a warm send off to cherished members of the RSJMS family!
