My Country My Pride
Raghubir Singh Junior Modern School organised an exhibition 'My Country, My Pride' on the research-based summer holidays homework assigned to the students. Ms Anuradha Singh, Honorable President, Board of Trustees, Modern Schools, Mr Ajay Verma, Chairman, R.S.J.M.S. and Mr TCA Rangachari, Chairman, Modern School, Vasant Vihar graced the occasion with their presence. They were escorted by the Headmistress Ms Nalini Singh Rajput. All the dignitaries were overwhelmed to see the well-researched projects made by the students in the form of articles, charts and eco-friendly models put on display as exhibits.
In order to maximize collaborative learning, each class was given a topic to work and research on. Students of all classes beautifully presented India in a myriad form, highlighting Indian sports personalities, Indian personalities in art and culture, national parks, bird sanctuary wildlife reserves in India, Indian States (seven sisters and brother Sikkim) and Indian Union territories. Parents visited their wards’ classrooms to view the exhibition and presentation to encourage and motivate them. An array of interesting and fun-filled activities like - Rangoli Making, Block Printing, Madhubani Art Work, and Puppet Show were organised for the visiting parents and students. Folk dances like Bhaagalpuri, Bhangra, and Odissi were a vibrant part of the day’s activities. Under the ‘Unplastic India’ initiative, single-use plastic waste from homes was donated at the counter for recycling. The exhibition truly showcased the commendable and enriching effort put forth by the entire R.S.J.M.S. fraternity.
