Junior Sports Day for classes Nur and P2
The Junior Sports Day for classes KG and P2 was held on 28th February, 2023. Mr Gautam Gambhir, Indian politician, cricketer and a Modernite, was the Chief Guest for the day. Ms Ambika Pant, Honorary Secretary, Board of Trustees, Modern School and Ms Mira Pradeep Singh, Honorary Treasurer, Board of Trustees, Modern School also graced the event.
The Junior Sports Day for classes Nursery and P1 was held on 2nd March, 2023. Mr Anshu Prakash, a Modernite 1979 batch, an IAS Officer and retired Chief Secretary, Government of Delhi was the Chief Guest on this day. Ms Ambika Pant, Honorary Secretary, Board of Trustees, Modern School and Ms Mira Pradeep Singh, Honorary Treasurer, Board of Trustees, Modern School and Mr Ajay Verma, Chairman, R S Junior Modern School also graced the event.
The school choir sang a melodious song, 'Do Your Best'. The young gymnasts showcased their skills and agility through an outstanding performance. While the KG children participated in races like the 'Joe and Kangaroo', 'Ants on a mission' etc. the Nursery children showed their athletic agility in races like 'Go Green Race','Military Drill Race', and 'Swachh Bharat Race'. The races for the P2 and P1 children included Flat race, Endurance Race, Obstacle Race etc. This year the students performed various drills. KG students performed aerobics and Nursery children performed Yoga drills. The P2 students showcased a drill with pom poms and P1 students gave an enthralling Zumba performance.
