Independence Day Celebrations
The Independence Day function was held on the 8th of August with much enthusiasm and gaiety in the school. The school wore a festive look as the bright and beautiful colours of the National flag were seen prominently in all decorations around the school.
The programme began with the arrival of the chief guest, Padma Bhushan Shri Rajeev Sethi, Indian designer, stenographer and art curator. Also present on the occasion were distinguished guests. The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest in the front lawns. The Headmistress, Mrs. Nalini Singh Rajput welcomed the guests present on the occasion. The gathering was also addressed by the Chief Guest, Mr. Rajeev Sethi and the Chairperson of the school, Mr. Verma.
The musical was staged on the occasion. It spoke about India’s glorious 75 years progressive journey since 1947. A delightful presentation by the young dancers, speakers and the choir mesmerized the esteemed audience. The audio-visual presentation displayed on the screen provided a wonderful visual backdrop to the show.
